Zeni, artist and designer identifies as 5nak in the creative world, is serving several platforms as a digital artist, photographer and musician. Raised in Phoenix, AZ. she started practicing graphic design for her own music and album art. “I am greatly influenced by the EDM community, skate culture, as well as BMX.” She also pull a lot of inspiration from the Y2K aesthetic from childhood.

 

Practicing almost a decade now, Zeni runs under the believe that being able to reach people and having an impact on them is important, yes, but also very necessary. The process of 5nak’s creations start with getting an idea, hashing it out on paper and then building out digitally on a computer - remaining flexible the whole time. Feedback is often her next step; sharing designs with friends seeing what they say and collecting valuable criticisms and opinions.

 

Over the years, the 5nak identity and brand has expanded from solely doing album covers to doing merch designs, social media branding, and video editing. 5nak has also become much more experimental and flexible with time. In the beginning, only doing photo manipulation, 5nak is primarily focusing on Y2K aesthetics, outrun, vaporwave, and glitchcore.

 

Unless Zeni is in her personal feels making darker art filled with deep emotions, her ultimate goal is wanting people to feel happy, excited, and hyped up from her art. We love to see it 😊
